Diet Regime:

For “Blade: Trinity” Ryan Reynolds was required to gain 20 pounds of muscle and reduce his bodyfat level to an extremely low 3%. He accomplished the feat mostly through nutrition. He ate every two to three hours to keep his metabolism up and didn’t give up carbs, though he didn’t eat any after 8 p.m. On a typical day his meal plan might consist of 2 eggs, almond butter, a cup of oatmeal and applesauce for breakfast, a protein bar midmorning, a healthy wrap with tuna or chicken and salad for lunch, a protein shake, bar, or apple and nuts mid-afternoon, fish or chicken with brown rice, veggies, and salad for dinner and another protein shake later in the evening.
Reynolds also packed on muscle by supplementing his workouts with creatine, L-glutamine, CLA, whey, and a multivitamin (Note: You should read up on the possible side effects of supplements before deciding to take them).
