Fitness Regime: To prepare to be Daisy Dukes in “The Dukes of Hazzard” Jessica Simpson adopted an intense workout schedule that consisted of sessions six days a week with trainer Michael Alexander. Her routine included squats and lunges for her butt as well as weight-resistance exercises. Her workouts lasted nearly two hours each. After the film she cut back her workouts to 3 days per week.

Diet Regime: Jessica adopted a low-carb, high-protein diet her trainer called the “Don’t Eat Crap Diet.” Her meals mostly consisted of chicken, fish, and green veggies. She made sure to make up for any “cheating” with an extra intense workout. After the film she kept to the diet somewhat less rigidly allowing herself occasional indulgences like pasta. Later, Simpson also reportedly tried out the 5 Factor diet of Haley Pasternak, her trainer for the film “Major Movie Star.”
